Among the conceptual declinations of freedom, there is one that is rooted in tradition: it is the freedom to express one’s artistic and cultural identity, made up of customs, habits, religious dictates, teachings. It is not an obstacle to freedom, but an essential part of it, asserting the need to live in plurality. Alessandro Giuli and Fulvia Toscano investigate the concept of tradition, between art, history and current events, as an art form and expression of Mediterranean identities that are continuously renewed.
