Home to the opening ceremony of Taobuk, it is one of the best known and most admired archaeological sites in the world.
Carved into the rock, it was built on a vantage point with a view over the Gulf of Schisò and the volcano Etna. Since the 1950s, it has been the setting for cultural events and international awards ceremonies.
