Padre Antonio Spadaro

Antonio Spadaro (Messina, 1966), Jesuit, is Undersecretary of the Vatican Dicastery for Culture and Education and Ordinary of the Academy of Fine Arts and Letters of the Virtuosi at the Pantheon. For 12 years he was Director of the magazine “La Civiltà Cattolica”. Author of the first interview with Pope Francis in 2013, he has published numerous volumes on contemporary art and literature, as well as on digital culture. He has just published a volume of conversations with the director Martin Scorsese entitled Dialoghi sulla fede (La Nave di Teseo).
