Dr Michele Groppi is Professor of International Security at the UK Defence Academy on behalf of King’s College London, Department of Defense, where he coordinates the course of strategic studies. A graduate of International Relations (with honors) in Stanford, California, he earned a master’s degree in anti-terrorism and international security at the IDC and, later, a doctorate in defense studies at King’s College London. A scholar of terrorism and radicalisation, Michele is the author of Luci e Ombre and numerous scientific articles, as well as appearing on BBC, BBC World, Al Jazeera, DW and other international media.
