Jonathan Safran Foer

Jonathan Safran Foer was born in Washington in 1977 and lives in New York. He made his debut at the age of twenty-five with Ogni cosa è illuminata (2002), an international best seller and winner of the National Jewish Book Award and the Guardian First Book Award; the second novel, Molto forte, incredibly vicino (2005), was equally successful. Both novels have been made into successful films. In 2010 he published his essay-reportage If nothing matters. Why we eat animals”, while the novel, Eccomi, of 2016, was chosen as the best book of the year by the jury of the Reading – Corriere della Sera. We can save the world before dinner is his latest essay, released in 2019. All his books are published in Italy by Guanda.
