Graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Messina, specialized in Occupational Medicine and General Hematology. Since 2023 she has been Dean of the University of Messina, Full Professor MED/44, former President of the Italian Society of Occupational Medicine.
He taught Occupational Medicine in various graduate programs and graduate schools, and participated in nationally funded research projects. She has been director of the Department of Services in the A.O.U “G. Martino” of Messina and competent doctor for public bodies.
She is the author of numerous scientific articles and has held various institutional and professional positions, including the chairmanship of the Committee for Equal Opportunities of the University of Messina and the national secretariat of the National Section of Preventive Medicine of Health Workers and the Italian Society of Occupational Medicine.
