A former professor of French, he is an eclectic novelist, author of plays and monologues, and comic book scriptwriter. Creator of Benjamin Malaussènee’s successful novels featuring him, he received the Renaudot Prize, an honorary degree in Pedagogy from the University of Bologna and the Chiara Prize for Lifetime Achievement.
