Originally from Buenos Aires, he is known as ‘the photographer of writers’, and for the past forty-five years has been building an ambitious ‘human atlas’ of literature, which began with Borges and Cortázar. Mordzinski has taken portraits of the most important figures in universal literature, and is the author of numerous books and exhibitions.
In 2023, Guanda published Hotel Chile, a collection of some of the photographs taken of Luis Sepúlveda accompanied by texts by the Chilean writer.
