Alessandro Leto

Alessandro Leto (Genoa, 1965), university professor, journalist and geographer, is one of the most brilliant international analysts in the study of sustainability.  He founded and directs the International Research and Higher Education Centre “Water Academy for a Sustainable and Responsible Development” and carries out activities of Advanced Training that is expressed in the educational offer addressed to companies to train Water Officers and Senior Water Officers.  In 2005 he conceived the principle of “Sustainable and Responsible Development” and has engaged in innovative research activities with a focus on the relationship between Resilience and Responsible Sustainability as useful factors to face the different future challenges generated by Climate Change. He has developed a specific expertise on the subject of Geopolitics of Natural Resources in general and Water Resources in particular. He has a vast scientific production. Member of the Scientific Committee of the Luigi Einaudi Foundation.
