Chiara Vigo was born in Catania on 31 January 1974 to the Neapolitan Leopoldo Vigo and Rosanna Romeo del Castello. Graduated in Communication Sciences at the University of Bologna, under the direction of Umberto Eco, she subsequently obtained a PhD in Arts at the University of Venice. As part of his doctoral program, he studied in France at several universities in Paris. Following the elaboration of her studies, she has published several articles on the language of futurist cuisine and is the author of the book Arte e Vino. The author label as an image of taste, published in 2007 by Cicero Editore of Venice. He currently manages, together with his mother, the Romeo del Castello family farm and wine estate, in Contrada Allegracore in Randazzo, on the slopes of Etna.
