Stefania Auci was born in Trapani, but has lived for some time in Palermo, where she works as a support teacher. With I Leoni di Sicilia, which had an extraordinary success – more than a hundred weeks in the ranking, published or being translated in 37 countries -, he narrated the events of Florio until the mid-nineteenth century, winning readers for the passion with which he was able to reveal the contradictory, enthralling vitality of this family. A passion that also crosses the Winter of the Lions, the second and final part of the saga, and that opens the doors of the myth of Florio, making us relive an era, a world and a destiny without equal.
