Commissioner Paolo Gentiloni and Director of Corriere della Sera Luciano Fontana, in dialogue with Paolo Valentino, reflect on the concept of European identity, against the background of an international geopolitical context threatened by conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, social divisions and climate and demographic change. What does it mean, nowadays, to be “European”?
